Marcus is carrying something no man should carry alone — the death of his child at the hands of a system that was supposed to protect him. His grief has calcified into anger, and his anger has isolated him from everything that remains.
Forced into therapy as a condition of moving forward, Marcus walks into Dr. Turner's office ready to be unmoved. What he doesn't expect is a woman who has lived inside the same wound from a different angle. A doctor who understands injustice not as theory, but as personal history.
